hello~~~ how are you?? long time no see~~
ya man, havent updated for quite a while. bz bz bee.. sighh.. my consultant was away last week, and we got the Head Consultant as our relief consultant. omigoshh.. his brain is like.. 'wow!'. like.. the tv series Greg House MD. well.. not that extra super bright la, but u got the picture rite..?
"i would be very happy to acquired half of his knowledge by the end of my practice" claimed Selatan (my registrar aka senior doctor).
that makes our workload like.. 'whoa....*loooooong sigghhhhhhhh*'. aka A LOT. because when it comes to complicated patients with query query query diagnosis, the patient will undergo dozens of investigations (eg: imaging like CT and MRI, lumbar puncture, tubes and tubes of blood tests, consult the neurologist or neurosurgeons or psychogeriatrics or blablabla bloody bla). unfortunately.. while my dear consultant Makmal was on leave, we received like.. 3 or 4 complicatd patients. *sighhh* 2 of them with acute neuropathy. sad.. both of them couldnt walk (over a week or so) and we stil couldnt find the cause thus the cure.. :S
eh wait2, what is my point?
oh ya, workload.. i dont have time to study at all last week, sobs coz i slept the very2 early..penat you! Salahkan House tuu! dia memang!
ok my next point is that im growing fonder with Cepat Team. (NOT YOU House! u're just a relief!- eventhou he actually remembered my name after only 1 introduction -> oh well dont blame those who cant remember.. it is too exotic for them to even belief my name exist, ahah..).
Suara the junior doctor is so nice and laidback, and was so humble as well! never ordered me around, in fact saying 'thanks' and 'please' everytime i offered my help!
NB- my role in the team apart from learning is to help the doctors especially doing junior doctor works. and last week, he asked/suggest to Selatan to teach me ECG and stuff, coz my viva is coming up in 2wks time (lubdub) and [maybe he noticed that] i barely learnt anything in the ward... so hard lah to balance between working and learning.. -_-"
Meanwhile Selatan.. i think we are a bit reserved towards each other. for me, i am naturally a bit shy and scared of seniors malu2 kucin!. for him.. maybe he likes others to approach him rather than vice versa?? but through out the month, we gets better and better in communicating. usually im more confident and could be bubli-er when Suara is around too.. hahaha.. y?? think he can protect me kahh??!Selatan pulak nak makan me kah??!. but this week is cool~~ he taught me ECG (and at this moment im supposed to revise about 'junctional & ventricular pathologies' rather than writing this entry, hehehehe...nearly done.) he never scolded me or underestimate my limited brain capacity! unlike some other trainees tht i heard got humiliated during practice viva.. :S
couldnt help but noticed that they stil have the value of being gentlemen~ they opened the door for me, carried the patients' notes and only handed them to me when we reached patients' bedside, let me go thru the door 1st blabla~. a marked difference from Coklat (my previous registrar/senior doc) and i did wonder whether he isnt practicing his 'gentleman side' only in the hospital, or is he generally absent-minded kind of person??
NB to my bakal suami: be a gentleman please!!
NB to readers: bakal suami masih belum wujud so u guys can stop assuming hokay? =p
eniway, last week was frantically busy.i am tired.. and sleepy tOoo... ZZzzz..

ok.. ok.. we got the point that u're so busy.. and as well, we got the point of u're still single & mingling around at the hospital.. hehehh...
ok ok... u got the 1st point right. however for the 2nd point; shall i clarify that both Selatan and Suara are married? so.. nah.. our 'relationship' are purely professional! lol~~
btw today, both of them opened the door (macam pintu adabi yg 2-2 sides boleh bukak tu) simultaneously. so i walked 'gracefully' thru the middle and Selatan said, "arent you lucky 2 guys opened the door for you?". hahaha~ hell yeah!
nb: i must be dreaming for this to ever happen when im back home to msia!
heheee. that's the thing.. it was culture made them gentlemen.. :D in France, it is totally normal for the guys to hold the door for us women.. while onboard, it is culture for the first to open the door, hold for the next person to come. let it be women or men, malay or european.. yes, there are other malay than me onboard my vessel.. ^^
still busy~? camna nak lawan post akak nih~? terlepas ketapi dah tu..
takpe... kejar naik LRT nih!
